About this role
Performs complex administrative, supervisory, and law enforcement work in the protection of life and property in the Town, directing activities in a major division of the Police Department. Supervision is exercised over subordinate sworn and non-sworn personnel. Supervision is exercised over all assigned personnel. Work is performed in accordance with departmental policy and State and federal law, supplemented with specific directions from the Police Chief. Work is performed under the direction of a Police Chief.
