Reporting to the Vice-President, Transport, you will manage new business and renewals across Canada while contributing to the continued expansion of our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Underwrite, develop, and manage new business and renewals in line with program and contract guidelines
• Evaluate, accept, or decline risks within your underwriting authority
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers through exceptional service and regular outreach
• Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to drive results
• Represent REVAU at industry events and strengthen market presence
• Stay informed on market conditions, trends, and emerging risks in commercial insurance
• Ensure accurate and timely policy issuance and billing
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of insurance experience, preferably within the Transport sector
• Strong knowledge of policy wording and underwriting principles
• Analytical mindset with confident decision-making abilities
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and priorities
• Insurance diploma (considered an asset)
• Experience with Guidewire (considered an asset)
