About this role
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor industrial refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on compressors, piping, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot system issues and respond to alarms
• Support maintenance planning, inspections, and system reliability initiatives
• Contribute to the development of operating procedures and maintenance programs
Qualifications
• Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
• 10+ years of industrial refrigeration experience
• Strong experience with ammonia-based systems
• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, or DCS control systems
Assets
• Refrigeration Engineer certification
• Refrigeration Operator Class B or Class A Certificate of Qualification
• Ground freezing or mining experience
