Reinhart Landscaping & Snow, has been working in Central Illinois area since 1986. We are looking for qualified people to join our growing teams. The ideal candidates should enjoy the outdoors and be able to work in all weather. You may not have a Grounds Crew background but if you have a strong work ethic and the ability to pick up on detail-oriented tasks, we can train the skills to the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties
Tractor Operator performs duties related to the maintenance and beautification of the parks and trees, right-of-ways, ditches, and other facilities, primarily operating tractors with batwings on flats and slopes and mowers/boom mowers along lakes/ponds, hard-to-reach areas, and secondary roads, etc. while maneuvering around structures, debris, and foliage.
• Must be present for snow removal in the winter months and have open availability for these snow and ice events
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned truck and equipment
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Assist in equipment repairs
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the department
• Complete daily and weekly reports
• Safely maneuver and drive large equipment
• Be available for work hours 6am - 6pm Monday - Friday - however, if job duties are efficiently done and completed, Fridays are at the Operations manager's discretion. Crew leaders will arrive a little early to prepare the day for their crew.
Qualifications
• Be presentable, clean-cut, and well-spoken
• Possess a high degree of motivation and strong work ethic
• Have reliable transportation, with a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Dress Code
• We are a professional company and dress accordingly. We will provide shirts, hats, & sweatshirt. Uniforms must be worn at this job at all times
