Job Summary: The EHS Coordinator provides leadership for the site safety culture by developing, reviewing, and enforcing EHS programs that support a safe and healthy workplace and ensure compliance with MSHA requirements and applicable state and local regulations. Key accountabilities include hazard identification and risk reduction through routine site inspections; management of MSHA training and related records; facilitation of MSHA inspections; incident/accident investigations; and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. The role also guides, coaches, mentors, and evaluates employees and participates in mine rescue training and response activities, as applicable.
