About this role
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the plant and ensuring the plant is operated in a safe and efficient manner. The Operations Manager manages the implementation and modification of the Operating Plan. The Operations Manager is responsible for carrying out the daily energy dispatch orders and managing generation imbalances to 1) ensure compliance with the power offtake requirements and environmental regulations and, 2) to maximize the profitability of the plant.
