About this role
Position Summary Responsible for completing Universal Screeners during well-child exams for mothers of children aged Birth to 1 and for pediatric patients (ages 8-19) at the Kansas City Kansas Women and Children’s Center. Provide short-term therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches approved by the Swope Behavioral Health Department. Offer brief, targeted case management services to support coordination and connection to community resources, ensuring holistic care. Facilitate warm hand-off referrals for additional behavioral health services in a timely manner. Provide interventions during the well-child appointment for screened patients with one or more positive responses during the same appointment.
