JOB TITLE: LPN GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care in the Phase II recovery area of a fast-paced orthopedic ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing readiness for discharge, providing patient and family education, reinforcing discharge instructions, and ensuring a safe and efficient transition from the surgical center to home. The LPN works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, RNs, and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing Hold an active state license. One year experience in a health care facility preferred. CPR Certification
