About this role
Provides, maintains, and oversees high-reliability, clinical quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) methodology and interdisciplinary activities related to delivery of care, to improve patient outcomes and experience and to reduce/end preventable harm. Identifies data trends, risks and improvement opportunities for patient care and safety. Advises exe. leadership on developments, regarding polices/procedures, programs and processes to improve and enhance quality, efficiency and effective outcomes. Manages projects and other initiatives to mitigate risks, increase safety and improve patient experience. Collaborates with health plans and external agencies to understand quality incentives and metrics, then designs and implements initiatives to achieve those desired outcomes.
