About this role
The basic function of this role within the work process is to act as a gatekeeper to ensure that all work requests for maintenance and operational resources are scrutinized for budgetary impact and justification prior to release. This function is responsible for driving the process by ensuring that all work, including HSE, regulatory, quality, and reliability work adds value and is prioritized in a cost-effective way. This includes ensuring equipment is evaluated to minimize unscheduled failures, and work orders are entered in a timely manner that facilities planning lead times. Ensures that work orders contain a detailed scope and potential impact and equipment is safely prepared for maintenance prepublished work schedules.
