About this role
The Medical Technologist III performs waived and non-waived tests defined by Clinical Laboratory Improvmeent Amendments (CLIA) in an accurate and timely manner under direct supervision. Must be familiar with and perform lab procedures in all disciplines of the department, including the following sections: Microbiology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Hematology, and Blood Bank. The Medical Technologist III will specialize in one of these disciplines and be responsible for training and education in this discipline. This position will also be responsible for department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements Assists with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements.
