About this role
The OMCA works within a team environment to perform a wide range of clinical, administrative, and on-site specimen collection duties and collects medical history information, conducts initial assessments of work-related injuries, prepares patients for evaluation, fits and dispenses durable medical equipment, administers pre-employment drug screens, and initiates DOT and pre-placement examinations using established criteria. The OMCA supports providers by maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating follow-up care, and assisting with required documentation. This role communicates effectively with patients and employers to provide timely information and ensure continuity of care and participates in on-site specimen collection services at employer locations or within clinic settings.
