About this role
Wildfire crew members are expected to participate and excel by suppressing fires using methods such as digging hand guard, using water delivery systems, operating power saws and various other practices. Working as a part of an organized crew within a definite command structure, wildfire employees work long hours in stressful or potentially dangerous situations and are expected to be able to work for extended periods with little time off.
