Job Description We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 3rd shift for our Huntington, Indiana Plant.
Job Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot; diagnose; and repair mechanical and electrical systems. • Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders. • Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques and monitor compliance. • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance. • Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception. • Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner. • Support work flows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions. • Provide P.M. for facilities equipment and production equipment. • Suggest modifications and improvements to PM. • Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work order. • Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair. • Monitor equipment performance. Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds. • Review production fixtures and provide input. • Review and provide input on new facility equipment. • Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site. • Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
Requirements:
• Must have Journeyman’s card or at least five years of experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics. • High School diploma or equivalent. • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
