About this role
The Peer Advocate plays a vital role in supporting youth and families within the system of care by promoting engagement, advocacy, and access to services that are family-centered, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. Working under the direction of the Family and Youth Partnership Manager, the Peer Advocate ensures families are empowered as active decision-makers in their care planning and that their voices are represented in service coordination and system improvement efforts. Peer Advocates collaborate with program leadership, service providers, and community partners to improve access to supports, identify and address service gaps, and foster a network of inclusive, family-focused care.
