About this role
The Systems Analyst is responsible for working with business units and IT to determine system needs from both a functionality and technical standpoint. Acting as a liaison between IT and business units, the Systems Analyst helps translate the functional needs of the business unit into technical requirements and communicates technical limits to non-technical business unit representatives. The Systems Analyst provides application support for enterprise applications to solve problems and provide guidance on usage. The Systems Analyst is also responsible for building and managing projects in accordance with the Project Portfolio Management program for various systems implementations or changes.
