The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is actively seeking physicians assistant to become an integral part of a growing continuum of behavioral health care services. This posting is for two new Programs, Crisis Stabilization (23 hour, 59 min stay) is a short term, high intensity program that accepts walk ins and first responder drop offs for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Crisis Residential (7 day stay) is a voluntary and involuntary program for psychiatric stabilization. Responsibilities include multidisciplinary team-based care, medical and psychiatric evaluation and management, supporting and following legal requirements, de-escalation and crisis resolution, engagement in milieu, care coordination, and understanding of social determinants of health.
