JP Mascaro & Sons has an excellent career opportunity for a Mechanic Helper at our Pioneer Crossing Landfill location in Birdsboro, PA.
Responsibilities:
• Help assist with any general maintenance on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
• Help fix any major repairs needed in a timely manner
• Perform any general repairs/services on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
• Complete necessary daily shop paperwork
• Help fix any major sudden breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent delay in operations
• Ability to help out onsite of the landfill when needed with driving truck, landscaping, etc.
Work Schedule:
• Monday through Friday full time
• Overtime hours are available immediately
• Must be able to work every other Saturday
Requirements:
• Must be able to work every other Saturday
• Good communication skills both orally and written
• Must be comfortable and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to drive both commercial and non-commercial vehicles with manual transmission (preferred)
Compensation:
• Determined upon experience
• Monthly compliance bonus
