About this role
Prepares attractive, nutritious, and appetizing meals for residents, employees, and guests in compliance with registered dietitian–approved menus, federal, state, and local regulations, and company policies and procedures. Ensures high-quality food service at all times by: Demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in meal setup, seasoning, estimating food quantities, using leftovers effectively, and presenting meals appealingly. Planning cooking schedules to ensure meals are prepared and served on time, aligned with established meal service times. Preparing, portioning, garnishing, and serving meals according to standard recipes, planned menus, and portion control guidelines.
