QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Capable of all routine diagnostic procedures including Abdominal, Chest, Spine, Extremity and Head.
Lic/Reg/Cert: Current Oregon RT; and License; ARRT registered.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Medium to very heavy physical demand level capabilities required. Must be able to work independently as well as with Physicians, coworkers and to provide service to patients of all age groups.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians.
• Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
• Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Trained in using CR readers and capable of digitizing prior films into PAC's.
