About this role
The Children’s Mental Health Worker is to provide a range of direct intervention or treatment services delivered as needed to indigenous youth attending schools in Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties with identified mental health and/or addictions difficulties that affect their overall functioning and success. The Children Mental Health Worker will also collaborate with school administration, staff, and families of students to help resolve issues that may impact student learning. The Children Mental Health Worker will advocate for and assist in the coordination of responsive culturally rooted extended care plans by working cooperatively with community mental health professionals dedicated to providing the highest standard of service.
