About this role
The Developmental Services Psychologist is responsible to plan, develop, organize, deliver and evaluate psychological assessments and diagnosis for indigenous children and youth in Sioux Lookout and in the 33 First Nation Communities SLFNHA supports. Funded by Jordan’s Principal this Psychologist will have an enormous impact on the wellbeing of the children in this region by providing specialized psychological assessment, diagnosis and interventions. Working with an interdisciplinary team the psychologist will have the opportunity to utilize psychoeducational and neuropsychological testing to identify and support children and youth who have autism, FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) and other developmental disabilities.
