About this role
Provides full scope of services for primary psychiatric health care services to hospital and clinic patients within the Behavioral Health setting. Performs physical examinations, performs or orders diagnostic tests, establishes diagnoses, prescribes medications, instructs patient and family members about medical conditions and treatment. Agree to adhere to all provisions and requirements of SMC Compliance Plan, Ethics policy and Standards of Behavior. to, diagnosis, treatment and coordination of care, preventative care and health maintenance to the patient. Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure patient healthcare needs are met.
