About this role
The Athletic Trainer delivers medical care & provide first aide under NATA scope of practice & under the direction of licensed doctors or other health-care professionals. They will diagnose and treat injuries to bone and muscle. They will work with anyone who engages in athletic activities, from elementary school children on playgrounds to professional athletics, as well as, “industrial athletes.” Play a key role in preventing injury through the use of devices such as tape and braces, recognize and evaluate injuries, and provide emergency care. Rehabilitates injured athletes and plans programs to prevent injury and illness.
