Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide service and support for our analytical instrumentation. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of service-related functions, including the repair, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and performance verification of assigned products. This role will primarily support GC, GCMS, LC, and LCMS instruments and is best suited for someone with a strong service background who is comfortable working independently in the field. This position requires significant travel, including local travel by company vehicle and regular flights between regions. Candidates should expect to travel at least 80%, including frequent overnight travel, to support customer and business needs.
