About this role
We are looking for hard-working, reliable and safety minded individuals to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. In this role you will be responsible for the timely and effective maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of various brands and types of heavy equipment. This will include electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics, parts inventory and ordering, report writing, and scheduling. This position is based at our Savannah yard, but will also travel locally for maintenance and repair work at other SA Recycling yards. This position will work outside in varying weather conditions, and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
