About this role
This position is responsible for protecting all property of Samaritan Healthcare, all professionals and other persons on said property, within confines and limitations normal to a healthcare facility located in Central Washington. The Security Officer must be on a continuous patrol of grounds and buildings and monitor video, maintaining a keen sense of awareness, at all times, to detect suspicious persons, malfunctioning equipment, safety or fire hazards, cluttered areas, unauthorized vehicles, etc. In case of arrests or suppression of unruly persons, the Security Officer must coordinate with local law enforcement authorities and remain within the hospital’s legal bounds in all actions. This is a per diem position working various hour shifts and days of the week.
