About this role
The PFS Receptionist serves as the hospital and clinic primary contact for all initial patient billing inquiries. This contact may be in-person, through mailings, or incoming calls from a multi-line phone. The Receptionist will accept inbound phone calls from patients, physician offices, insurance carriers, etc. with the intent to resolve the callers concern immediately whenever possible, and when not possible, will route calls to the appropriate department professional. The Receptionist will accept and process patient payments, assist patients in understanding billing statements, perform scanning, data entry and filing, sort daily incoming mail, daily deposit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. This is a full-time onsite role working Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm.
