About this role

Take a lead stewardship role over all camp facilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. Create and execute repair plans for aging facilities. Be continually aware of opportunities to get ahead of facility decay. Work with the Camp Director to execute large-scale facility plans. Develop and maintain a high standard of functionality and esthetic quality for Camp Ponderosa. Be constantly aware of opportunities to engage in preventative maintenance. Lead maintenance staff; appropriately delegating tasks and allowing room for some autonomy in their work. Communicate with maintenance staff, drawing on their experiences and insights. Answer maintenance calls as needed by guests and coordinate repairs accordingly.
