About this role
The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking to fill a full-time Detox Counselor position (30 hours/wk, overnight shift). Responsible for providing Detox clients with the clinical services necessary to realize a safe detoxification from alcohol and other drugs. Provides screening, admission, discharge, and referral services to Detox clients. Provides individual counseling and conducts alcohol education and skill building sessions designed to motivate the Detox client to seek treatment. Handle crises and client issues for all ATS clients.
