About this role
As an Excess Workers’ Compensation Underwriting Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the profitable growth of Safety National’s portfolio within your assigned territory. You will evaluate, select, and price complex excess workers’ compensation risks, leveraging your deep expertise to make strategic underwriting decisions that align with company guidelines and objectives. In this role, you will analyze detailed risk information—including loss history, financials, and operational exposures—to determine appropriate structures such as loss fund attachments, self-insured retentions, and premiums.
