Patient Safety Monitor / Patient Transporter Dual Role- PRN (As Needed) @ QHC

This dual role will work as a Patient Safety Monitor to assist nursing employees with monitoring assigned patients under the direction & guidance of a staff nurse to provide observation of patients as a "sitter" only. Provides constant observation to patients who may be in danger of harming themselves or acting in an unsafe manner. As a transporter, will transports patients to & from their inpatient beds & other areas. Assists with patient handling & lifting using appropriate patient safety equipment & appropriate safety procedures. Transports patients safely & efficiently between various departments following appropriate transfer techniques & proper isolation/infection control procedures.
