Position Details: PRN 8-12 Hours a Week, 8-12 Hour Shifts
Job Summary:
• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences or Ultrasound Technology.
• At least 2 year experience in performing general, Level II OB and small parts ultrasound procedures preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be ARRT and/or ARDMS registered or registry eligible.
• Current BLS Certification or obtain per policy.
