About this role
The primary role and responsibility of the Commodity Inventory Allocator (CIA) is the allocation of their group of commodities ensuring the correct product, for the correct customer, following designated product specifications. The CIA closely in tandem with the Commodity Planners through a short-term line of sight, which intersects with inbound product, forecasts and ship-to-customer specific forecasts expectations. This role also requires verifying quality of on-floor inventories verses ERP system records to monitor inventory levels. This position is responsible for the allocation of products to accurately fill customer sales requests as directed by the commodities department.
