About this role
An integral member of the Center, the Research Clinician will work directly with people who use substances, specifically, performing physical exams, screening for substance use disorders, doing phlebotomy, and overseeing staff to implement study protocols. You will also aid in the supervision of research associate staff, process lab samples, dispense naloxone, and take vital signs. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in other research activities (in close collaboration with the Principal Investigators), from grant writing, research design, and lab oversight, to implementation and management of studies and publication of results.
