About this role
The Youth Engagement Specialist (YES) is responsible for supporting the emotional/behavioral needs of students within the Day School program. The YES will work with classroom teams, individual students, and groups of students as needed throughout the day. Specific services as a Youth Engagement Specialist include supporting the classroom teams and ancillary staff with de-escalation, intervention support and proactive crises support. The YES is available to support staff in identifying appropriate interventions and support for students throughout the program. The Youth Engagement Specialist will be trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and will work as a part of the Day School team.
