About this role
The Nurse uses a team approach to healthcare, applying nursing processes, medical procedure and testing, critical thinking and referral. Effectively interacts with students, parents, physicians and other health care providers with the aim of assisting students to assume responsibility for their own health and wellness. The Lamont Health and Wellness Center provides 24/7 care for high school aged students including overnight, outpatient and sick visits. This is a full-time benefited opportunity for day/evening, 36 hours per week with weekend rotation. The health center is open 24/7 during the Academic Year and 5 weeks during the summer when school is in session.
