As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machines in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner to produce high-quality nonwoven fabrics that provide wellness and protection to people's lives.
Responsibilities:
• Operate machines in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner
• Maintain quality standards for the product
• Keep the machine and surrounding area clean
• Follow instructions from the team lead
• Become proficient in operating the Mainline and the Slitter machines
• Complete all required training and assessments within 12 months
• To train or assist in any training for new/ transferred employees
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Previous manufacturing/distribution center/industrial experience preferred
• Proven ability for applied learning
• Good communication skills
• Prior computer experience preferred
Work Environment:
• Noisy environment requiring hearing protection
• Manufacturing environment requiring safety shoes and safety glasses
• Other PPE required based upon specific tasks
Physical Requirements:
• Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift
• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting throughout shift
• Occasional climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams
• Frequent lifting and overhead reaching during shift
• Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift, including materials requiring up to 75lbs of force to maneuver
• Frequent lifting or carrying up to 50lbs
• Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
• Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
• Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and roll manipulators throughout shift
• Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area
• Occasional climbing of steps
• Balance required for some tasks

• Shift differential pay of $2.00/hour for hours worked between 9:00pm-9:00am
