About this role
The Caption Operator prepares scripts for Caption Services (open and closed) in captioning software to allow patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, or who are not fluent English users to follow the dialogue onstage in real time. The Caption Operator will set up the equipment prior to the performance, run captions during the performance, and take down the equipment after the performance.
