About this role
Summary The Protection and Control Engineering Specialist (P&C Engineering Specialist) Intern installs, tests, troubleshoots, maintains and analyzes the performance of protection and control equipment, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated communication devices. The P&C Engineering Specialist Intern also provides support to other P&C Engineering Specialists to ensure proper operation of system protection relaying schemes and SCADA systems to eliminate or limit damage, prevent the spread of system disturbances, reduce the number and duration of customer outages, and to minimize the probability of an ultimate cascading electrical system blackout.
