About this role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings to machine parts.
• Builds and repairs parts.
• Sets-up and operates conventional and CNC machines.
• Reworks molds and tools damaged in production.
• Completes related paperwork.
• Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Supports and helps co-workers as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 2 years machine shop experience
• Welding ability and CNC experience preferred
• Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, trigonometry)
• Metric conversions
• Weights and measures conversions
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged standing
• Lifting up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling
