Newbury Living — a well-established and growing name in property management — is hiring a Traveling Maintenance Specialist to keep our communities across the Des Moines metro running smoothly. This role is built for a self-starter who's comfortable working independently, enjoys mixing things up, and takes pride in leaving every property better than they found it.

What you'll do
• Travel to multiple properties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems
• Take the lead on preventative maintenance to keep communities running smoothly
• Perform detailed inspections and identify improvement opportunities
• Train and mentor on-site maintenance teams
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work to ensure quality and efficiency
• Deliver excellent service and build positive relationships with residents and staff
What you bring
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Eastern Iowa
• 5+ years of apartment or multi-family maintenance experience (preferred)
• Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Solid problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
• Comfort with basic computer systems and documentation
• Valid Iowa driver's license and current vehicle insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
