About this role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Patient Access, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the provision of health services to manage the needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities. The Nurse Practitioner uses the principles of primary health care to guide clinical practice and thus contributes to the models of health care established by Mosaic Primary Care Network. The Nurse Practitioner uses their in-depth advanced practice knowledge to provide comprehensive assessments, to order and interpret diagnostic and screening tests, to diagnose illness and disease, and to manage health concerns, including the prescription of medications and therapies.
