About this role
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including, engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, suspension, flushes, oil changes, etc. • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and/or customers • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician • Dealership experience is highly preferred • A.S.E. certifications are highly preferred • Import experience required, Mazda experience preferred • Hold a valid driver’s license • Must be knowledgeable of shop equipment • Road testing vehicles to confirm repairs
