As a Property Damage Claims Adjuster, you'll serve as a subject matter expert responsible for evaluating, managing, and negotiating property damage claims on behalf of our clients.
You'll work closely with attorneys, case managers, clients, insurance carriers, and repair vendors to ensure claims are thoroughly investigated, accurately documented, and resolved efficiently.

What You'll Do
Claim Evaluation & Investigation
• Conduct comprehensive investigations of property damage claims, assessing causation, scope of loss, and overall impact.
• Review and analyze documentation, photographs, repair estimates, and supporting evidence.
• Identify inconsistencies, undervalued claims, or improper denials based on industry standards and policy interpretation.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
• Work closely with clients to gather required documentation, understand claim details, and manage expectations throughout the claims process.
• Communicate and coordinate with insurance adjusters, carriers, repair vendors, and third-party stakeholders.
• Provide clients with clear guidance regarding documentation requirements, claim timelines, and next steps.
Assessment, Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare accurate damage assessments, repair estimates, and comprehensive claim reports.
• Present findings to attorneys, clients, and insurance representatives in a clear, organized, and defensible manner.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant documentation of all claim activities and communications.
Negotiation & Claim Resolution
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters while advocating for fair claim valuation and policy interpretation.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen claims and address disputed or undervalued assessments.
• Track claim progress from intake through resolution while ensuring timely follow-up and proactive case management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with attorneys, case managers, and internal teams to support legal strategy and improve case outcomes.
• Provide subject matter expertise related to property damage claims, insurance coverage, and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5–8 years of experience as a Property Damage Claims Adjuster, Insurance Adjuster, or similar role handling property damage claims.
• Strong understanding of property insurance policies, claims workflows, adjusting procedures, and coverage interpretation.
• Proven ability to evaluate damages, prepare accurate estimates, and negotiate successful claim settlements.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience handling complex property damage claims within insurance carriers, third-party administrators, or legal environments.
• Experience using estimating software such as Xactimate or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Personal Injury law firms or legal claims support.
• Experience negotiating directly with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Knowledge of California insurance claims practices is considered an advantage.
