About this role
As MISO’s Senior SQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, installing, monitoring, maintenance, security, and performance tuning of enterprise class databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres. You will also be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of both critical and non critical corporate data systems. You will play a key part in protecting and enhancing MISO’s data environment by proactively managing databases and implementing best practice standards. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to understand their data requirements and ensure that corporate information remains accurate, secure, and trusted.
