The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team. They develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care; coordinate resources and care activities, educate patients/families and participate in care conferences. They work to provide an optimum-healing environment for the body, mind, and spirit; plan and arrange education/discharge-planning needs; coordinate care and manage resources. Uses knowledge of age-specific guidelines to develop and implement a plan of care for patients based on the individual’s current level of functioning.
