About this role

The Adult Protective Services (APS) Program is a home-based response to alleged abuse, neglect, exploitation (ANE), and self-neglect (SN) reports. APS serves people with disabilities ages 18-59 and older adults 60 years and older who live in the community and all socioeconomic groups. The Intake Responsibility internship is available to bachelor's students, in which interns will learn to provide client-centered, welcoming, responsive, and helpful intake and referral services to individuals and families, resulting in connection to appropriate services and/or resources. The Case Management internship is available to master's students, who will help with home-based assessments, investigation and case management, referrals, advocacy, and supportive counseling to APS clients and their families.
