About this role
The Adult Protective Services (APS) Program is a home-based response to alleged abuse, neglect, exploitation (ANE) and self-neglect (SN) reports. APS serves people with disabilities ages 18-59 and older adults 60 years and older who live in the community and all social economic groups. The Intervention Specialist will provide home based assessments, investigation and case management, referrals, advocacy and supportive counseling to APS clients and their families. Demonstrates a passion for community based social services and commitment to populations at risk and in need of safety interventions. Completes community based in-person risk evaluations and makes determinations of necessary level of care.
