Essential Job Responsibilities
• Support in Identifying and analyzing potential hazards and vulnerabilities within the community
• Support and facilitate the development of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) plans that are community-led and tailored to local contexts.
• Encourage active participation from all community sectors, including marginalized groups.
• Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for DRM plans.
• Ensure that grant funds are used effectively and transparently for DRM activities.
• Assist communities in executing their DRM actions and using committee kits effectively.
• Support in organizing Training of Trainers (ToT) programs for staff and community leaders.
• Support the training sessions to build capacity in facilitating CLDRM.
• Assess the impact of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Other duties required by the supervisor
Program coordination and management
• Maintain and coordinate reporting and documentation with the DRR Coordinator and other relevant team members.
Timely preparation of activity progress report from the respective area and share with the DRR Coordinator.
